“Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.” – Theodore Roosevelt
I am passionate about supporting others by offering a warm, authentic, and compassionate space to explore life’s challenges. Witnessing the meaningful impact of mental health support is what led me to pursue a career in psychotherapy. My goal is to help clients better understand themselves and use strengths they already possess to create the change they desire.
I believe that everyone has the capacity for growth and change when provided with the right support and tools. I strive to create a space where clients feel genuinely heard and understood, and where we can work collaboratively toward meaningful, and lasting change.
Hi! I’m Brianah!
My Approach To Therapy
My approach is grounded in creating a warm, supportive space where you can feel comfortable and genuinely understood. I see you as the expert in your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you with curiosity and care as we explore your experiences and strengths together. I draw from different therapeutic approaches to meet your unique needs, offering gentle challenges when helpful to support your growth. Along the way, I aim to equip you with practical tools, so you can feel more confident, capable, and supported in your day-to-day life.
-
DBT combines cognitive-behavioral techniques with mindfulness strategies to help manage emotions, improve interpersonal relationships, and tolerate distress. In therapy, we will work together to build skills in areas like emotion regulation and acceptance; while helping you navigate difficult situations and strengthen your overall resilience.
-
I believe that no two people are alike. A holistic approach allows me to tailor the approach I use to fit the unique needs of each and every client. Together we can explore what works and what doesn’t to ensure you feel supported and heard throughout the therapeutic process.
-
You are the expert in your own life. My role in therapy is to walk alongside you with compassion, empathy, and understanding and to help you reach your goals.
-
Understanding the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviour can help recognize unhelpful patterns and replace them with more productive strategies. Together, we will create space for insight and build helpful tools that align with you and your goals!
What to Expect in Sessions
I approach every client with genuine curiosity and compassion, taking the time to understand your unique experiences and perspective. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe to be yourself, while we work together in a way that feels meaningful and supportive to you.

How I Want You to Feel After a Session
Sometimes the things we struggle with can feel really heavy. Leaving session, I want you to feel supported and that the load is a little lighter than when you came in. I hope that you feel confident and well equipped with tools to support you day-to-day.
