Being a holistic therapist means looking at the whole person — not just your symptoms, but your story, your body, your relationships, your culture, and your emotional and spiritual wellbeing. Holistic therapy recognizes that healing isn’t one-size-fits-all, and it doesn't just happen in the mind.
We explore how things like stress, trauma, past experiences, and even your nervous system or belief systems may be impacting how you feel. A holistic therapist works collaboratively with you, often drawing from multiple approaches (like talk therapy, EMDR, body-based work, mindfulness, or parts work) to support you as a whole — heart, mind, and body.

Everyone’s experience with trauma is different, and not all trauma leads to PTSD. But if you’re asking this question, something in you may already sense that something doesn’t feel right — and that matters.
You might have trauma if you’ve experienced something overwhelming that left a lasting impact, even if it happened a long time ago or doesn’t seem “big enough” to count. Signs could include:
Feeling stuck in the past
Avoiding people or places
Being easily startled or on edge
Nightmares, flashbacks, or difficulty sleeping
Feeling numb, disconnected, or constantly overwhelmed
PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder) is a more specific diagnosis, and a therapist can help you explore whether your symptoms meet that criteria — but you don’t need a diagnosis to get support. If your past experiences are affecting how you feel or function today, you deserve care and healing.
Do you tell parents what their kids say in therapy? No
