“Grief is like the ocean; it comes on waves ebbing and flowing. Sometimes the water is calm, and sometimes it is overwhelming. All we can do is learn to swim.” - Vicki Harrison
Hi! I’m Kelly!
I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with advanced training in yoga, breathwork and somatic techniques. I am deeply committed to supporting people in reconnecting with themselves and navigating life’s challenges with greater clarity and compassion. I’m also a certified yoga teacher for both adults and children, where I developed a strong foundation in mindfulness, and meditation - tools that continue to inform my therapeutic approach.
I believe in being a human-first therapist: caring, genuinely curious, and grounded in the belief that healing happens through authentic connection. My role is to support and guide you in a safe, grounded space where you can feel seen, heard, and empowered. I look forward to supporting you on your journey.
My Approach To Therapy
My approach to therapy is person-centered, strengths-based, and collaborative, with a deep respect for each client’s unique story and inner wisdom. I believe healing happens through authentic connection, compassion, and feeling truly seen and understood.
-
ACT helps clients build psychological flexibility by learning to accept difficult thoughts and emotions while taking committed action toward what truly matters. I support clients in clarifying their values and developing practical tools to live a more meaningful, aligned life.
-
I incorporate body-based awareness and polyvagal-informed practices to help regulate the nervous system and support a sense of safety, grounding, and emotional resilience. This approach recognizes the deep connection between mind and body and how our physiological states shape our thoughts, emotions, and relationships.
-
I work from a trauma-informed lens that prioritizes safety, choice, collaboration, and empowerment. This approach recognizes the impact of past experiences on the nervous system and emotional well-being and ensures therapy moves at a pace that feels respectful, supportive, and non-overwhelming.
-
Narrative therapy views you as the expert of your own life. We will separate you from the problem and explore how certain stories may be influencing your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. Together, we will co-author new, more empowering narratives that align with your values and goals.
-
Solution-focused therapy emphasizes strengths, resources, and what is already working in your life. Together, we focus on practical goals, small achievable steps, and building momentum toward positive change.
Together, we’ll co-create meaningful goals and revisit them as your needs evolve, celebrating your growth and wins along the way. My work is informed by somatic, trauma-informed, and mindfulness-based practices, and I integrate practical tools to support both emotional insight and real-life change. I aim to create a warm, grounded, and empowering space where you can reconnect with yourself, build resilience, and move toward a more self-actualized, values-aligned life.
I take a person-centered, strengths-based, and collaborative approach to therapy, recognizing that each client is unique and deserves an individualized path forward. At the start of our work together, we’ll co-create goals for therapy and revisit them along the way, celebrating your wins and growth as they unfold. At the beginning of each session, we’ll check in about what feels most important to focus on, and I may also share a focus I’d like to explore together. Our sessions can include experiential activities such as written exercises, breathwork, meditation, or gently processing a difficult situation - always at a pace that feels right for you.

How I Want You to Feel After a Session
I want you to leave our sessions feeling a little lighter, a little clearer, and a lot more seen. Whether you’re working through something specific or simply exploring your identity and emotions, I hope you’ll feel grounded and more connected to who you are — and who you’re becoming.
